Where are your products manufactured?

All of our products are designed and manufactured in the United States using premium architectural metals. While some components may be sourced globally, every Traditional Metals product is fabricated and assembled in the USA.

What is the average lead time?

Production times vary depending on the product and level of customization. Because all of our products are made to order, estimated lead times can vary. If you are working with a tight timeline, please contact us before ordering.

Can I change or cancel my order after approvals?

We allow a 24-hour grace period to change an approved order. After this period, production may have already begun and cancellations or changes may incur fees.

Do you offer finish samples?

Yes. We offer finish samples so you can see and feel our metals in person before ordering. You can order samples here.

How will my outdoor product age in the elements?

Many architectural metals are considered “living finishes.” Materials such as Copper,
Zinc, and Bronze naturally develop patina as they react with their environment. This process creates rich color variations and is a normal characteristic of real metal. You can learn more on our Exterior Collections page.

What metal is best for a chimney cap?

Copper, Stainless Steel, Zinc, Bronze and Powder Coated Stainless Steel are all excellent choices for chimney caps. Each metal offers durability, and some develop distinctive natural patinas over time.

Will Copper turn green over time?

Yes. Copper naturally develops a patina when exposed to air and moisture. This process creates rich brown tones that can eventually develop into a green patina depending on environmental conditions.

Do chimney caps keep animals out?

Yes, chimney caps with screens help prevent animals, debris, and rain from entering the chimney while still allowing proper ventilation.

How do I measure my chimney for a chimney cap?
