The Roll Metal Range Hood is defined by its distinctive double-curve profile, creating a dynamic yet balanced silhouette that serves as a refined focal point within the kitchen. Its layered curvature introduces a sense of movement and dimension, offering a more sculptural interpretation of traditional hood forms while maintaining a clean, architectural presence.

The dual-curve design creates a smooth, flowing transition between cabinetry and hood, adding depth and visual interest without appearing heavy or overly ornate. This subtle complexity enhances the overall composition of the space, making it well-suited for a range of kitchen styles, from transitional to more elevated traditional interiors.

Designed for both visual impact and everyday performance, the Roll hood delivers a built-in, tailored appearance while remaining highly functional.

Each hood is fabricated in the USA from premium Copper, Brass/Bronze, Zinc, or Stainless Steel and built to order for a precise fit and long-term durability.

 Material Thickness
Copper 24 oz (.03")
Brass/Bronze 20 ga (.03")
Stainless Steel 22 ga (.03")
Steel  22 ga (.03")
Zinc 18 ga (.04")

Depending on the material, our range hoods are finished with 2–3 coats of lacquer to help protect against fingerprints and slow the oxidation process. Over time, Copper, Brass, and Zinc will continue to develop a natural patina, adding depth and character, while Stainless Steel maintains a more consistent appearance.

How to Size a Range Hood

We typically recommend sizing your hood approximately 6" wider than your cooktop, or at minimum matching the width of the cooking surface.

Every kitchen layout is different, so final sizing may vary depending on cabinetry, ceiling height, and overall design. If you’re unsure what size will work best, we’re happy to help guide you through the selection process.

Material + Construction

We source high-quality architectural metals from trusted suppliers. Material Thickness varies depending on metal but goes as follows: Copper (24oz, .03"), Bronze (20ga, .03"), Stainless Steel (22ga, .03"), Steel (22ga, .03"), and Zinc (18ga .04"). All hoods are constructed using solid riveted or soldered assembly methods.

Shipping + Installation

Range hoods are shipped via LTL freight in a fully crated package, secured to prevent movement during transit. To install, the insert must first be removed from the hood for uncrating. Built-in mounting brackets are located on the back of the hood for straightforward installation.

Once mounted, duct connections can be completed and the insert reinstalled. Detailed installation instructions are provided upon shipment.

Patina + Care

Depending on the material and finish, our range hoods receive 2–3 coats of protective lacquer to help minimize fingerprints and slow natural oxidation. While handling during installation may occasionally leave marks, these are typically reduced once the hood is in place and no longer being handled.

Over time, Copper, Brass, and Zinc will continue to develop a natural patina, though the lacquer significantly slows this process compared to untreated outdoor products. Stainless Steel maintains a more consistent appearance.

Built for Your Space

Each hood is fabricated specifically for your project, allowing for adjustments in size, proportion, and design details. Whether you’re working within a standard layout or need something more tailored, our team can help ensure the hood integrates seamlessly into your space.

Roll Range Hood FAQ

What makes the Barrel Range Hood different from other styles?

The Roll Range Hood stands apart through its double-curve design, which introduces an added layer of dimension compared to single-curve or straight-profile hoods. This subtle complexity creates more visual movement and depth without overwhelming the space. The result is a design that feels more sculptural and custom, while still maintaining the clean lines and balanced proportions needed to integrate seamlessly with surrounding cabinetry.

Is the Roll Range Hood a flush fit design?

Yes. The Roll Range Hood is designed as a flush fit style, meaning it typically installs tight between two cabinets for a clean, built-in appearance. This makes it an excellent choice for kitchens where a streamlined, integrated look is desired without sacrificing visual impact.

Can the Roll Range Hood be customized?

Yes. Our semi-custom design is standardized but still offers a good amount of custom sizing. If you need something even more custom, we can run it through our full custom shop.

What materials are available for the Roll Range Hood?

The Roll Range Hood is available in Copper, Brass/Bronze, Zinc, and Stainless Steel. Each material offers a distinct appearance, with Copper, Brass, and Zinc developing a natural patina over time, while Stainless Steel maintains a more consistent finish.

Does the Roll Range Hood include a blower?

Internal blower options are available and can be selected based on your ventilation requirements. For remote blower configurations or custom setups, please inquire.

Can design details like straps and rivets be added?

Yes. Our semi-custom line offers 3 different trim packages to offer as many or as few straps and rivets you'd like.
